Not just Best Practice Awards; This year Wales Quality Centre are celebrating and sharing Best
Practice through a networking and learning event which will be held at Hensol Castle, Vale of
Glamorgan on 2nd October. This will be a daytime event with no dress code.

THE DETAILS

There will be AWARDS & BEST PRACTICE EXAMPLES, Key Note speakers, Learning workshops,
Q&A sessions and plenty of opportunities for networking and recognition.

We would love for you to join us for an informative and enjoyable day with an opportunity to meet
up with colleagues, meet new people and see what amazing things we do in Wales.

The venue is mind blowing, but the achievements of these individuals and teams are truly astounding.
This is a very relaxed daytime event with engaging speakers and upskilling workshops, in a friendly and
informal atmosphere. You choose which sessions you wish to attend, or just mingle and enjoy the
atmosphere.
There will be lots of opportunities to connect/reconnect with old and new colleagues,
and good food to enjoy whilst doing so.

We will be recognising, sharing and showcasing Best Practice, Innovations and pockets of
excellence that make the difference, and that are transferable across businesses and sectors. Many of
these initiatives will not have come from corporate direction but will have been achieved by the
upskilling and empowerment of employees and teams.

Investing in all our futures

We support EESW (Education and Engineering Skills Wales) student projects initiative, a partnership of
our young upcoming talent (age 16 to 18 years), who partner with industry to address current issues
and problems with remarkable and inspiring results. The aim is to inspire and motivate young people to
choose careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

This year we have sponsored Awards for students who submitted projects judged to be the most
commercially viable.
