Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
(APQP) Advanced Product Quality Planning is a set of procedures and techniques used to develop products in industry. Designed specifically for the automotive industry, APQP has applications in many other sectors. APQP is a defined process for a product development system used by organisations such as; General Motors, Ford, Chrysler and their suppliers. Its objective is to produce a product quality plan which will support the development of a product or service to satisfy customer needs and requirements.
