What you will gain

The purpose of the course is to enable you to integrate an Environment and/or Occupational Health & Safety and/or Information Security management system with your QMS.

This interactive course is designed to provide a practical approach to using auditing as a tool to help achieve an integrated management system.  It approaches the integration of management systems from a risk-management perspective, encouraging participants to take the broadest possible view of the processes in their organisation and the risk sources that need to be identified, controlled and improved.  It also considers the implications of multi-standard certification and develops the basis for an integrated approach to management systems auditing.

At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the principles and mechanisms for the integration of Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety Management Systems.
  • Appreciate the importance of the legislative and regulatory requirements for the business in structuring an integrated approach
  • Prepare, implement, report and track internal audits of management systems in an integrated manner
  • Contribute to the development, improvement and integration of their organisation’s management system.
